BeautyFit BeautyBum is a product that targets an issue that many are insecure about – cellulite – and also an area that many worry about – the bum. This product claims to not only reduce the appearance of cellulite, but to blast away the fat that causes it, breaking up down and turning it to energy – no effort required other than applying it twice a day. After a few weeks of using it, it says, you will notice smoother and healthier skin. We are skeptical of this because cellulite is a particularly elusive fat, not associated with the other kinds of fat found on the body. We want to know how BeautyFit plans on reaching this fat, first of all, and then turning it into energy.

The ingredients in this product cannot possibly deliver the results it promises. Its primary ingredients are diuretics, which mean that they dehydrate the body. When the body loses moisture, it does have the appearance of tone, but this will only be temporary as the body will soon replace the lost moisture. The truth is that nothing applied topically can eliminate cellulite. The most effective topical treatment is prescription doses of retinol, which thicken the skin and make cellulite less visible. This doesn’t magically “melt fat” but it does conceal the cellulite. This product also contains parabens, which are terrible for the skin. They irritate, but can also lead to fatal condition.
Our Take
We do not recommend this product for anyone. It is ineffective and potentially dangerous.
