Unlike many wrinkles creams Cellnique Firming Serum is not meant to target one specific area, and it is not meant to really penetrate into the skin. It is meant to work on the fine lines on your face, and to smooth expression lines. You can use it on your neck, face, and even around your eyes. It is supposed to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and firm your skin.

On The Label

Cellnique Firming Serum ingredients include Retinol (Vitamin A), Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate, Hydrogenated Soy Lecithin, Methyparaben, Propylparaben.

The only anti-aging ingredient in this seems to be the Retinol. That has been shown to help exfoliate the skin to help new remove old damaged skin. It may be helpful in reducing age spots, but has not been shown to really help with wrinkles. The other ingredients are all fillers, and do not seem to actually help with wrinkles. Parabens are actually just preservatives and are used as fillers. They may actually clog the skin.

Our Take

We do not recommend this product due to the fact that it does not have any real effective ingredients. It is not meant to work deep into the skin, but we say that if you’re going to spend your money on a wrinkle cream you should make sure that it can really get at the root of the problem. Increasing collagen product with ingredients such as peptides is the best way to get your skin on the path to looking younger. Keep looking for other products that have more than one wrinkle ingredient.
