Hydroxatone is a wrinkle reduction and prevention cream that asserts itself to be as strong as an injection of Botox. Many topical solutions claim to be the Botox alternative so what is it that Hydroxatone offers that others don’t? First off Hydroxatone was engineered and formulated by a plastic surgeon, named Dr. Fiorillo, who has seen a staggering increase of patients wanting a permanent solution to the issue of age lines and sagging skin. This product uses the “advanced technologies” of argireline and hyaluronic acid.

On The Label

Hydroxatone is a four step program that includes a milk cleanser, a balancing toner, an anti-wrinkle formula and something referred to as an “instant face lift.” There is no comprehensive ingredient catalog but along with the two ingredients mention above Hydroxatone claims to implement Matrixy, which is said to be a potent peptide on par with argireline. Hyaluronic acid is a strong moisturizer. There is some evidence that these three ingredients could have positive results in a skin age-reversal regimen however this is only true if the high doses required for each ingredients are utilized.

Our Take

Our hesitation with this product is that it seems to be keeping information from us. We are left to speculate what reasons are behind Hydroxatone not providing us with a complete ingredients list. This could be for a number of reasons. Perhaps there are also unproven ingredients in their formula. Maybe something that could be potentially harmful. Perhaps their formula is pumped up with useless fillers and preservatives. More than likely the positive ingredients they mention aren’t used in high enough doses to be effective. We can’t be sure why but we can guarantee you that whatever the reason for hiding the list it is a clear sign that this product will not be very beneficial. At $200 we would expect a lot more information. We do not recommend Hydroxatone.
