The eye area is very prone to age lines, and so many companies manufacture creams specifically for this region. It is difficult, however, because the proximity to the eye itself means that the area is more sensitive and harsher chemicals may irritate the skin. Our Take

Most of these ingredients are fillers, which means that they are just taking up space in the tube, and will not do anything beneficial for your skin and may in fact cause irritation or other negative outcomes. There are several ingredients, such dimethicone and cyclopentasilocane, that are silicones, meaning that they are useful as hairspray or conditioners, but they do nothing for the under-eye area. Butylene glycol is an additive is cosmetics meant to keep them from spoiling, but really just takes up space and is known to cause irritation. Even the caffeine, which is meant to reduce the fat and wrinkles, cannot effectively permeate the skin, meaning that it will do nothing. We would not recommend for this product because it will not reduce fat or lighten the under eye area.
