Managing oily skin can be a chore. On one hand, you actually end up staying younger, because your skin is always moisturized. But the problem is your skin is overly moisturized, and this not only leads to a shine to your skin and feeling heavy in general, it also leads to generally speaking more acne, even into adulthood. How do you battle this problem?
Well first of all, stop taking that drying cleanser into your home. It’s actually aggravating the problem. Second of all check out your diet. You may not be getting enough vitamins, and moreover if you eat more good fatty acids you will balance out your oil levels whereas bad fatty acids will make it worse. These are two big ones.
Then you want to use a good cleanser and a good astringent, probably natural and gentle ones, and at the same time use a moisturizer! It sounds stupid, you’re trying to fight that problem. But your skin is essentially speaking overcompensating for a problem it feels like is there. Therefore, to address this problem, you will need to find a good moisturizer and use it in managing oily skin. And finally, you really want to stick to oil free makeup. Yes, oil free makeup is only going to make the problem worse for obvious reasons and clog your pores more, ultimately actually making you age faster. So stop wearing that liquid or otherwise oily makeup.
