Pentaxyl Reviews

Pentaxyl is a wrinkle cream and stretch mark cream that claims to be able to work on both the dermal and epidermal layers of the skin.

It is supposed to be able to reduce wrinkles and increase skin firmness and thickness, as well as reduce skin discolorations and increase hydration, improving skin texture and brightness.

While these claims are very interesting, Pentaxyl could only give us those kinds of results if it contained proven ingredients in high dosages, and we need to look at the ingredients and at consumer reviews before we can determine Pentaxyl’s effectiveness.

Ingredients

Acetyl Hexapeptide-3
This powerful peptide is clinically proven to reduce wrinkles, particularly on the forehead and around the eyes. That is because these wrinkles are caused by facial expressions, and Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 disrupts nerve signals to the skin

Palmitoyl Oligopeptide
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide stimulates both collagen production and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, making your skin firmer and smoother.

Matrixyl
Also known as palmitoyl pentapeptide-3, this peptides is known to stimulate collagen production in the skin and produce the same effects of BOTOX® injections used for its anti-wrinkle properties.

Extracts
Pentaxyl contains various plant extracts, including Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola), Coneflower, Bearberry and Licorice, all of which claim to soothe and moisturize the skin in various ways. The fact is that extracts are not capable of delving past the epidermal layer of the skin, and will not reduce wrinkles or fine lines.

Vitamins
A variable alphabet of vitamins, Pentaxyl contains vitamins A, C, and E. Though these vitamins help the skin in various ways, such as by moisture and temporarily improving the texture and brightness of the skin, they will not have any permanent anti-aging effects.

Pros

-Pentaxyl does contain some clinically proven ingredients

-It doesn’t seem to contain any harmful elements

Cons

-It is expensive, costing $72 for 4 ounces

-It only lists a propriety blend, which doesn’t give us specific dosages

Conclusion

Though Pentaxyl does have some interesting elements, we would not recommend using this product. The company does not disclose enough information about Pentaxyl, and that probably means that it is not as good as it seems. We would recommend finding a product that discloses more details, particularly about its ingredients.
