Prevage MD is a topical skin care solution that is meant to aid in the superior protection from damaging elements such as the sun, cigarette smoke, ozone depletion, and other air pollutants. This product utilizes the enhanced power of an ingredient called Coenzyme Q10. This product is supposedly available only through a physician but it has been seen on auction sites such as Amazon as well. This product retails for $115.

Coenzyme Q10 is a proven and effective skin care agent against the damage that can occur when skin is exposed to the sun and free radicals. Since it is hard to avoid the sun, and unhealthy to do so and free radicals are impossible to escape as they are a part of the air we breathe constantly, this is not an ingredient that should be undervalued. This product does not boast of wrinkle fighting abilities which is good since Coenzyme Q10 (Prevage MD’s only noted ingredient) does not have any proven capacity to assist in anti-aging effects. Coenzyme Q10 also has the potential to increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun along the same lines as microdermabrasion.

Prevage MD is to be commended for their forthrightness with potential consumers. This product does not make any outlandish claims and it is more than willing to admit its limits along with its potential benefits. This is a trait that we find invaluable as most companies make promise after promise that they just can’t keep. Our only concern in regard to Prevage MD is the price. $115 is steep for a product that can’t offer any amazing results. You would probably be better off attempting a less expensive over the counter product and then, if you aren’t satisfied with the skin protecting results a cheaper product can provide, perhaps it would be worth it to you to give Prevage MD a try.
