StriVectin HS (Hydrothermal Deep Wrinkle Serum) is an over the counter serum that claims to have the ability to erase wrinkle, decompress creases and reduce the appearance of pores. This product is a part of the Klein Becker family of products meaning that it is one in a long line of home aids ranging from skin care products to childrens’ medicated beverages. There are both pros and cons to having a product emerge from an established company. A pro being that a company of Klein Becker’s size probably has the resources to do adequate and reliable research. A con being that Klein Becker has its hands in many pots and is unlikely to be considerably invested in just one product.

What’s in It?

One thing we are more than happy to give this product credit for is its willingness to let us know that ingredients are in the mix. Most products hide this information or give out only a few ingredients hoping this will curb your curiosity. Strivectin HS ingredients include water, tripeptide, glycerin, butylene glycol, sodium polyrene sulfonate, yeast extract, PEG 8, albumen, polypeptide, hydrolyzed soy protein, glycereth 26, arginine, xanthan gum, PEG 12 Dimethicone, Acrylates/C10 30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Phenosyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, and Isobutylparaben.

Conclusion

StriVectin HS is not an overly impressive compound. It does boast the power of two active peptides and we are not too proud to admit that we were surprised to see anything of value in the formula. Having stated that, the fact remains that the “active” peptides are blanketed in rather generic names and give us no real idea as to which peptides they are or what they might be capable of. The rest of this formulation seems to plump up of preservatives and other filler ingredients. We do not recommend this product at this time.
