This product claims to protect the skin from the aging effects of the sun, as well as provide anti-aging benefits. The active ingredients in this product are mostly sunscreens, but also includes StriVectin’s patented ingredient NIA 114, which is niacin. Niacin has been shown to reduce wrinkles to an extent, but we are not sure if it would be effective when combined with sunscreens, which are dominant, greasy ingredients, designed to stay on the surface of the skin and be water resistant.

Conclusion
We would not recommend this product. It contains octocrylene, which has been shown to actually increase the chances that DNA damage and melanoma due to UV rays. In a study performed using rats, the rats that had no sunscreen whatsoever were actually less likely to suffer these effects than those using octocrylene. This is a frightening result, and we would not recommend risking it. There are many sunscreens that do not contain ingredient linked to these kinds of damages. Even if the niacin worked in conjunction with all of the other active ingredients, which we cannot confirm, we still would suggest using an anti-aging regimen separately from a sunscreen.
