TYK Revelation is yet another wrinkle reduction system that claims to be the best “Botox alternative” on the market at this time. TYK Revelation is manufactured by a company called Can Do Spirit Inc and is said to utilize a matrixyl/collasyn complex and the very best quality of ingredients including retinols, vitamins and peptides. TYK Revelation is sold for $65 a bottle.

Water, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, PEG-45 Palm Kernel Glycerides, Glycerin, C-13-14 Isoparaffin, Isostearyl Isostearate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Polyacrylamide, Polysorbate 60, Oleyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Urea, Lecithin, PEG-6, Safflower (Carthamus Tinctorius) Oil, Palmitoyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Retinyl (Vitamin A) Palmitate, Retinol, Palmitoyl pentapeptide 3, Myristyol-tetrapeptide VA, Myristyol-pentapeptide KS, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Fragrance, Trisodium EDTA, Carbomer, Diazolidinyl Urea, Butylparaben, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Triethanolamine.

At first glance we were hopeful about the matrixyl/collasyn complex as matrixyl is better able to encourage collagen stores than a vast majority of other commonly used ingredients. Unfortunately any of the potentially helpful ingredients are not listed until the latter end of the ingredient list implying that they are not used in large or active doses. A lot of the rest of the list is made up of fillers and preservatives. The addition of both retinyl palmitate and retinol is redundant as they both have the same effect on this skin, which can be damaging at times, and are generally used as acne combatants.

The Skinny

There is little in the TYK Revelation composition that leads us to believe it would be successful addition to your skin care regimen. The ingredients are not available in potent enough amounts to give you any positive results. We suggest you spend your $65 on an established product backed by clinical studies and proven ingredients. We do not recommend TYK Revelation.
