The Claim
Youthology makes no bones about what it promises its potential consumers. This product has been developed with the hope of assisting you in achieving a “younger looking complexion.” Youthology is also an alternative to plastic surgery and is supported by Dr. Jeffrey Gunter. This is actually a lone of five products which are meant to be used together in order to achieve the maximum results possible. These products include a 90 second lip line smoother, a rich collagen repairing mask, a daytime nourisher, a nighttime nourisher, and a radiance mask. To give you an idea of the pricing you can purchase the first product in the series, the 90 second lip line smoother, for $39.99.
Claiming to give you a “younger looking complexion” and to be an alternative to plastic surgery is all very vague in our opinion. What does this product actually propose to do? How does it achieve this younger complexion? Is it a wrinkle reducer? A collagen booster? Since wrinkle elimination is the main source of the appearance of aging we can only assume (and hope) that this is what Youthology focuses on.
Ingredients
The ingredients found in Youthology are listed as a “proprietary herbal complex” and collagen. Proprietary blend is a blanket term used by manufacturers who are unwilling to release a complete list of ingredients and they are the major source of our frustration as reviewers. Ingredients are the best way to judge whether or not a product will be effective and without that information we are left to guess that perhaps Youthology has something to hide. Whether that means that this product is filler heavy or has potential hazardous ingredients we couldn’t say but it doesn’t seem logical to keep proven ingredients hidden from consumers.
What We Think
Youthology, which can be translated as “the study of youth”, makes a lot of its ability to reverse the aging process but gives on absolutely no evidence to support this assertion. With nothing in the way of clinical trials or documented research and with absolutely no way of determining the value of its formulation we are left to believe that Youthology is all hype. We do not recommend the purchase or use of this product.
